Peristerona is a Greek-Cypriot village situated about 5 km from one of the five checkpoints in the "buffer zone" dividing Cyprus' Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot communities. PPI - CY visited in 2010 in hopes of eventually launching a full-time program there. One good barometer for a new area's success is the enthusiasm of the kids participating: the sound of these players screaming and cheering on this day was absolutely deafening. Hear it for yourself!
