Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor's degree in one of the following or related fields preferred: Community Development, Economic Development, Conflict Resolution, Sports Management, International Affairs, International Development, and Business Administration.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-3 years professional work experience
- Sports and youth coaching background (basketball preferred)
- Demonstrated and proven record to lead/motivate a team
- International travel and/or study abroad preferred
Skills:
- Strong self-motivation and leadership skills;
- Design and carry out of basketball and life skills session plans
- Knowledge of and/or participation in organized sport (basketball preferred);
- Effective facilitation skills
- Awareness of and respect for diverse cultures and belief systems;
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills in English required(knowledge of local languages is a plus)
- Computer literate, specifically in Microsoft Office applications.
